Ronald Lee Hossler, 63, of Manchester, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at home.

Born Oct. 24, 1950, in Manchester, he was the son of the late William Emory and Mary Jane Wilhelm Hossler. He was the husband of Sharon Louise Sell Hossler, with whom he would have celebrated 39 years of marriage on April 12.

He was a North Carroll High School graduate. He was a farmer, and years ago, he worked for Asplundh Tree Service.

He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, gardening, being with friends and fishing the Potomac River with his buddies.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughter Melissa Lee Hossler and fiance Curt Cullison, of South Hanover, Pa.; a granddaughter, Maci Rose Cullison, of Hanover; a step-grandson, Brandon Cullison, of Hanover; a sister, Betty Gorsuch, of Westminster, in-laws June and husband Marlin Rittase, of Hanover, Mike Rittase, of Manchester, and Steven Sell and wife Mary, of Westminster; and other extended family.

He was predeceased by brothers Richard and Russell Hossler.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Leisters Church Cemetery in Westminster.
