Rose Marie Tarr, 78, of New Windsor, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Lorien in Taneytown. Born on July 15, 1938 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Knight Wagenfuehr and her late step father Edward Jones. She was the wife of Wilson Charles Tarr. Along with raising seven children, Rose was a school bus driver with the Arc of Carroll County for 15 years and was a caretaker to many disabled adults and elderly. Rose enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. She also loved being around people and was loved by all who knew her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her dog Angel. Surviving in addition to her husband are children and spouses Wilson S. and Vickie Tarr of Westminster, Frank and Christine Ray of Dover, PA, Bonnie and Michael Hartman of Hanover, PA, Tina M. and Bruce Shindledecker of Fairfield, PA, Lindsey R. and Wayne Holmberg of Fairfield, PA, and Todd A. and Mandy Madonna of Columbia, NJ; brother Charles Wagenfuehr of Baltimore; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter Brenda Madonna; grandchildren Charles V. Ray and Robert M. Miller; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Gregory Quintrell officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
