They subsequently moved to Westminster, MD, due to John's job relocation. They lived on Ridge Road until 1966 when they purchased a home on East Green St. Both Rose and John were active members of the First United Presbyterian Church in Westminster. After John's death in 1983, Rose moved into an apartment on Carroll St., where she lived until 1988 when she married her second husband, Melvin Pugh of Fairland, IN. She lived in Fairland until Melvin's death in 1999, when she returned to Westminster and resided at Parr's Ridge until 2005 when she moved to Diven House at Carroll Lutheran Village.
