Rosemary Catherine Horn Hughes, 85, of Aspers, PA, died Thursday, January 21, 2016, at York Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born December 5, 1930 in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late Mary Catherine Huber and George Joseph Horn. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harry A. "Bud" Hughes. She graduated from St. John Catholic High School and was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafting, flowers, gardening, birdwatching and loved her dog, Rascal. Besides her husband, she is survived by children Peggy Soper of Westminster, Rose Mary Morris and husband Donald of New Windsor, J. Richard "Rick" Hughes and wife Norma of Thurmont, Catherine Kemper and husband Donnie of Cascade, MD and David Hughes and wife Beth of Glenville, PA, sisters Ann Marie Garber of Gettysburg, PA and Therese Nevius of Westminster. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers George and Stephen Horn. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Martin Feild officiating. Interment will follow in Sandy Mount Cemetery.
