Ruby Neal Collins Campbell, 75, of Millboro, VA formerly of Woodbine, MD, died Friday evening, June 24, 2016 at her home in Millboro. She was born March 28, 1941 in Sneedsville, TN, the daughter of the late Lewis and Martha Gibson Collins. She was married for 56 years to Charles Nelson Campbell whom she married on July 14, 1961. Mrs. Campbell retired as a custodian for the Howard County Board of Education in Maryland. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and reading. In addition to her husband she is survived by children, Donna Haugh and husband Kenneth, Virginia Meadows and husband Richard all of Sykesville, Maryland a step-daughter, Shirley Rodeffer of Weyers Cave, Virginia; five sisters Betty Gibson, Minnie Trent and Barbara Craft all of Sneedsville, TN, Bennie Gibson of Georgia and Billie Skipper of West Minster, Maryland; Seven Grandchildren Jesse Haugh, Aaron Haugh, Bret Haugh, Lacey Haugh, Matthew Meadows, Kristen Jaharias-Mehl and Jacob Jaharias; three Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter Wilma Jaharias and one brother Elmer Collins. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday June 28, 2016 at the Millboro Christian Church Cemetery in Millboro, Virginia, officiated by Pastor Lloyd Via and Pastor Terry Collins. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Millboro Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
