Russell Stuart "Rocky" Montour, Sr., 66, of Westminster passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Suburban Hospital. Rocky was born on September 1, 1950 in Baltimore, MD and was the son of the late George W. and Margaret Virginia (nee Snyder) Montour. He was the husband of Judith A. Montour. He was a graduate of Franklin Senior High School. Russell worked as a tower crain operator at Miller & Long, Inc. He was very dedicated to his work, and was loved and well respected by his co-workers during his 46 years of employment. Surviving him in addition to his wife is son Russell Stuart "Rocky" Montour, Jr., of Westminster; granddaughter Allyson Nicole Montour; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings William K. Montour, Robert Montour, Sr., and Margaret V. Forbes. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 8 , 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Andrew Reisberg officiating. Interment will be held in Lakeview Memorial Park.
