Ruth Elizabeth Miller Weishaar, 93, of Westminster, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at Lorien Nursing Center in Taneytown.

Born May 15, 1920, in Warfieldsburg, she was the daughter of the late Emanuel James and Daisy May Bloom Dull. Twice married, she was the wife of Ralph "Jake" Miller, who died in 1985; and of James Marvin Weishaar, who died in 2004.

She retired after 32 years as a seamstress with Butte Knit in Westminster. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Gamber, Gamber Friendly group, and the auxiliary of the Gamber Fire Company.

Surviving are daughters Jean "Jeannie" Miller and husband Bob, and Joy Miller, all of Westminster; a brother, Ralph "Cubby" Dull, of Westminster; grandchildren Tim and Mel, Doug and Shay, Jerrod and Wendy Bauerlien, Shawn and Dollene, and Kevin and Christy Miller; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; and step-children Jim Jr. and Bonnie Weishaar, of Finksburg, Chuck and Carol Weishaar, of Hampstead, Roxann and Bruce Gilcrest, of Florida, Lisa and Tom Bowen, of Virginia, Bonnie Weishaar, of West Virginia, Debbie Weishaar, of Finksburg, and Barbara Weishaar, of Pennsylvania.

Also surviving are numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by brothers, Peck, John and Buddy Dull; sisters, Rachael and Ethel Overholtzer and Gladys Yingling; step-sons, Doug Weishaar Sr. and Robert Weishaar; and step-grandson Doug Weishaar, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster.

A funeral service will be held at 11 Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery in Gamber.
