Ruth Lynn Repp Six, 96, of Middleburg, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Lorien Rehabilitation and Nursing Home at Taneytown, after a two-month illness.

Born Sept. 12, 1915, in Middleburg, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland Wayne Repp and Edith Clara Lynn Repp. She was the wife of Donald Ellsworth Six, who died in 1998.

She was the last surviving member of the first graduating class, 1932, of Elmer A. Wolfe High School. She attended Towson Normal School (now Towson University). She was a lifelong member of Middleburg United Methodist Church, where she was treasurer for 50 years. She was a member of the West Carroll Republican Club, Johnsville Senior Citizens, an honorary member of Terra Rubra Lions Club, a life member of Carroll Hospital Center Auxiliary and a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels.

She enjoyed riding a motorcycle into her 90s. She enjoyed traveling and believed in "letting nature take its course."

Surviving are son Stuart Ellsworth Six and wife Barbara Coe Six, of New Windsor; daughter Nancy Lynn Six and husband Edward C. Raab, of Middleburg; grandchildren Susan Elaine Gullo, of New Windsor, and Dr. Lynn Megan Raab, Erin Marie Raab and Brian Edward Raab, all of Middleburg; a sister-in-law, Betty Williams Repp, of Middleburg; nephew and nieces Dale Lynn Repp, of Middleburg, Rebecca Ann Reasner and husband Dave, of Keymar, and Elizabeth Jane Benjamin, of Taneytown; friends Linda and Tom Mullineaux, of Keymar; and caretaker and friend, Barbara Smith, of Union Bridge.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Scott Ellsworth Six; and a brother, Wayne Lynn Repp.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Union Cemetery in Keysville, with her pastor, the Rev. Walter M. Bosman Jr., officiating.
