Sandra Ann "Sandy" Cheatham, 50, of Westminster, died Sunday night, December 14, 2014 at Carroll Hospice Dove House, surrounded by family and friends. Born on April 2, 1964 in Regensburg, Germany, she was the daughter of Rosa Wildfeuer Kloss and the late Sam Knight. She was the wife of William Jack Cheatham, her husband of 25 years. Sandy graduated from Westminster High School. She received training to be a travel agent and worked in the field for many years where she met her husband who was working at Piedmont Airlines at the time. After the birth of their children, Sandy began working at Tickled Pink in Glyndon, where she remained until her health prohibited her from doing so any longer. Sandy enjoyed organizing vacations to the Outer Banks with family members and spending time with her many friends. She was always on the hunt whether it was searching for a bargain at Target or gathering sea glass while strolling along sandy beaches. Surviving in addition to her husband are children Tyler Jack Cheatham and Allison K. Cheatham; stepfather Tracy Kloss; stepmother Jan Knight; mother-in-law Phyllis Stephens; siblings Kelly Knight and his wife Linda, Jennifer Hall, WC Knight and his wife Stacy, and Dean Knight and his wife Samantha; uncles Jimmy Unger and his wife Robin and Bobby Knight and his wife Patty; nephews Alec Knight, Jaime Unger and his wife Mindy and their sons Jacoby and Chase; and nieces Penelope Knight, Charlie Knight, and Chloey Bowman. She was predeceased by her grandparents Addie Unger Yelton and Charlie Unger. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Westminster, 65 Washington Rd., Westminster with Rev. Brett Morgan officiating.
