Sarah A. Kowalsky, 77, of Westminster, formerly of Reisterstown, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Brightview Westminster Ridge where she was a resident. Born June 4, 1939, in Accomac, VA, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Dorothy (Peters) Killmon. She was the loving wife of the late William A. "Bill" Kowalsky, who passed away on September 2, 2015. She was retired from the Baltimore County Police Department where she was a dispatcher. Sarah enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Gom." She was of the Methodist Faith. Surviving are daughters and their husbands, Sharon K. and Steven Inge and Karen A. and Tad Rau all of Westminster; Sisters Pearl Martin of Pylesville, and Pat Contino of Fallston; her loving grandchildren Lindsay and Chelsea Inge and Jackson and Amanda Rau; and 3 nieces and 3 nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 5 to 8pm at the PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Art Monroe, Jr. officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Promises for Parkinson's, 6717 Doane Ave., Springfield, VA 22152 ( or to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
