Sarita Marie Eichelman, 79, of Westminster, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at home.

Born Sept. 18, 1933, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Sara Piraino Bernardini and Dr. Joseph Bernardini. She was the wife of the late James Francis Eichelman Sr.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her house and yardwork. She enjoyed going to the beach, needlepoint, crocheting, watching her grandchildren play sports, and being with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.

Surviving are children and spouses James F. Eichelman Jr. and wife Mary, of White Marsh, Cecilia Kitterman and husband Dennis, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Joseph Eichelman, of Taneytown, and Joann Stupi and husband George, of Eldersburg; sisters Ursula Parsons, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Josephine Grace, of Baltimore; grandchildren Gregory Eichelman, Rachel Craig, Christopher, Daniel and Andrew Kitterman, Joseph and Emily Eichelman, and Kyle and Sara Stupi.

She was predeceased by a brother, Ramon Bernardini.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Ave., Westminster. Interment will be private.
