Sharon Mae Jeffries, age 64, of Woodbine, Maryland, died peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born November 15, 1951 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Currens and the late Mabel Currens. She was the wife of Scott Jeffries, her loving and devoted husband for 13 years. Sharon was a former Branch Manager for Bank of America and you could find her some evenings or weekends at The American Legion in Sykesville Post#223. Sharon enjoyed collecting angels, snow globes, loved her little dog, Fancy Pants, and enjoyed vacationing in the Outer Banks. Other memorable pastimes included spending time with her children and grandchildren, fixing any number of her signature dishes and shopping. Sharon enjoyed life and was especially fond of the Christmas season and decorating the house with all of her Christmas decorations. Surviving Sharon are her husband Scott Jeffries, Children: her son Edward Satterfield & daughter-in-law Ksenija Janjic, her daughter Jennifer Testerman & son-in-law Sterling Testerman Jr., her daughter Heather Satterfield & fiancé Bobby Nicolay. Grandchildren: Voin Satterfield, Mackenzie Satterfield, Oliver Satterfield, Sterling Testerman III, and Bobby Nicolay Jr. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion Post#223 in Sykesville on January 23, 2016 1pm-4pm. In case of inclement weather and snow emergency plans are in effect, service will be postponed to January 30, 2016, 1pm-4pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to The Carroll Hospice Dove House at 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
