Sharon Faye Somers, 63, of Westminster, died Friday, October 10, 2014, at home. Born November 4, 1950 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Patricia Painter Richards and Cleo Graham. Survived by her husband of 44 years, Danny F. Somers. She was formerly employed as a school bus driver with the North Carroll school district and also worked at London Fog. She enjoyed bowling and was an antique collector. She attended St. John Catholic Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Tina Palmisano of Littlestown, Pa., Dana Somers of York Springs, Pa., and Michael Somers of Littlestown, Pa., brothers Michael and David Howe, sisters Patricia Howe, Doris Miller, Daphine Hayworth, Vicki Browning, Gloria Jean Riepma, Debbie Holter and Aprylle Graham, grandchildren Kori, Anthony, Brad, Amber, Brandi, Heath, and McKenzie. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Doug and Richard Aikens, a sister Sara Sigai and step-father Pete Howe. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St. Westminster. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John F. Lesnick officiating. Interment will be at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville. Memorial contributions may be offered to the , 8400 Silver Crossing, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
