Shelbie Caroline Wilson, 22, of Manchester, died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born Jan. 1, 1992, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Victor A. Wilson, of Manchester, and Henriette Long Wilson, of Dover, Del. She was the step-daughter of Dianna M. Wilson, of Manchester, and Nolan Morris, of Dover.

She was a 2010 graduate of North Carroll High School. She worked at the Burger King in Hampstead.

She enjoyed time with her dog Zero, watching movies, taking selfies, baking and decorating cakes. She was very artistic and enjoyed drawing, poetry, music, dancing and singing. She was a fan of Disney princesses, especially Ariel.

Surviving, in addition to her parents and step-parents, are siblings Victoria L. Wilson, of Texas, Samantha R. Szukiewicz, of Manchester, Chelsea R. Venker, of Edgewood, Samuel A. Scotton, of Texas, Sabrina D. Wilson, of Manchester, Richard J. Pitts, of Dover,  Justin Y. Morris, of Dover, and Holley C. Wilson, of Manchester; a grandfather, William J. Long Sr., of Aberdeen; and aunts, uncles, cousins, many additional family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster; and from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Saturday at Crosswind Church, 640 Lucabaugh Mill Road, Westminster, with the Rev. David Sulcer officiating. Interment will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Crosswind Church, 640 Lucabaugh Mill Road, Westminster, MD 21157.
