Shelda Elaine "Mammy" Coffey, 64, of Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of Westminster, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her son's residence in Westminster. Born April 19, 1950 in Van, WV, she was the daughter of the late Dewey A. and Beatrice (Deem) Mullins. She was the loving wife of Edward Lee Coffey, whom she married in 1996. She was a 1968 graduate of Milford Mill High School. She retired from Black & Decker where she was a Customer Service Representative. She enjoyed traveling and attending tea's and luncheons with her friends, as well as bible study. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. Surviving in addition to her husband are children and spouses, Kara Nicole and Nate Taylor of Westminster, Zachary James and Erin Michelle Price of Westminster; step-daughter Lisa M .Spencer of Hanover, P.A.; grandchildren Quinlin, Marin and Kylin Taylor; Traiben and Arlin B. Price; Emily, Heidi, and Logan Spencer; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Brian Spencer, as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Wellman officiating. Interment will be held in Sandy Mount United Methodist Cemetery, Finksburg In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Brookgreen Gardens, 1931 Brookgreen Gardens Dr., Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
