Stanley Cash Nusbaum, 56 of Sykesville, MD Died Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Born May 5, 1960 in Frederick MD . Mr. Nusbaum was a 1978 Graduate of South Carroll High School. His interests included drag racing with sons, muscle cars, model cars and trains, camping, gun enthusiast, yard sales, pets, spending time with family, O's baseball, MD Eastern Shore, Chincoteague Island, VA, Pet Portraits with Santa for Animal Advocates of Carroll County. Stanley was an avid Scouter when his sons were in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was an Assistant Den Leader and Cub Master for Cub Scout Pack 389. Stanley served on Carroll District Roundtable and Webelos Leader Outdoor Training. He won the prestigious award of Carroll Scouter of the year. Stanley was a mechanic/welder with White Pine Construction in Finksburg. He helped coach his sons' baseball and soccer teams. Stanley upon his death became a tissue/bone donor with the Living Legacy of MD. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Melanie (Green) Nusbaum of Sykesville and sons Christopher M. and Daniel J. Nusbaum both of Westminster, parents Donald and Patricia (Wright) Nusbaum of Union Bridge, sister Sharon and wife Julia Baker of Taneytown, Niece Michelle Valentine and great niece Jasmine Butler both of Taneytown, father-in-law Joseph A. Green, Jr. of Taylorsville, mother-in-law Mary Ellen Green of Mt. Airy, sister-in-law Mary Beth Ruch of Mt. Airy and nieces Arden and Betsy Ruch, brother-in-law Christopher Green of Taylorsville, niece Brooke Green of Taylorsville, niece Jill Carr of Woodbine, brother-in-law Joseph A. Green, III of Frederick. Preceded in death by niece Alexis Jones, grandmothers Alice Wright and Ida Nusbaum, step-grandfather Walter "Moldy" Richards.
