Susan Irene Mascaro, 55, of Sykesville, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born March 7, 1957, in Folsom, Pa., she was the daughter of Irene E. Starecheski, of Sykesville, and the late Edward B. Starecheski. She was the wife of Harry W. "Bill" Mascaro, her husband of 21 years.

She was formerly employed as a regional manager with GNC. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening and cheering for the Ravens. She especially enjoyed time with her dog, Molly.

Surviving, in addition to her mother and husband, are brothers Edward, Gary and James Starecheski; mother-in-law and father-in-law Pat and Harry Mascaro; a brother-in-law, Stephen Mascaro; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a gift of life organ donor with the Living Legacy Program of Maryland.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of memorial service, 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, with the Rev. Ann Schlossnagle officiating. Interment will be private.
