Susannah Marion Badders, age 19, of Manchester, Maryland, died suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on Saturday, March 21, 2015 near Annapolis, Maryland. She was the beloved fifth daughter of Raymond W. Badders, who died with her in the fatal car crash, and Katherine Marion (Robinson) Badders of Manchester, her grieving mother for whom she was a shining, precious gift of God's love. Jason Simpkins her beloved boyfriend, also died with her in the crash. She was a graduate of Manchester Valley High School, Class of 2014. She played North Carroll rec soccer, was a classical ballet dancer, a high school volleyball player, and a champion track star for Manchester Valley High School: 2 years Maryland State Champion in the Triple Jump and Maryland State 4 X 100 Relay, running the second leg. Susannah was a talented artist whose art work represented her high school on several occasions. A Freshman at Salisbury University, she began as a Mathematics Major and was about to switch to Environmental Psychology with a minor in German. She had a passion for working with CHANGE, Inc. of Westminster where she worked the summer before entering college and this past January during winter break. In addition to her loving mother, she is survived by a maternal grandfather, Carey Robinson; sisters, Anne-Marie Hamma and husband David of Bowie, Carolyn Owens and husband Tyler of Annapolis, Victoria Badders and Julianne Badders both of Manchester; nieces, nephews, and countless extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Loretta Iglinski Robinson and by her paternal grandparents, Beatrice and Walter Badders. The family will receive friends for a viewing and time of remembrance on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 2-6 p.m. at LifePoint Church, 1701 Emory Rd., Reisterstown, MD. Interment will be private on Saturday morning for close family members. A celebration of life Memorial Service for Susannah, Jason, and Ray will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Grace Baptist Church, 7210 Racetrack Rd., Bowie, MD. The family would like to thank University of Maryland Shock Trauma for their professional and compassionate care. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
