Tammy Rose, 49, of Pasadena, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in Philadelphia.

Born March 13, 1963, in Westminster, she was the daughter of Charles and Priscilla Rose.

She graduated from Francis Scott Key High School in 1981 and the University of Baltimore in the late 1980s with a bachelor's degree. She was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

She was an entrepreneur in Northern Anne Arundel County with a passion for alternative homeopathic medicines. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, helping friends and listening to music.

Surviving are husband of 12 years, Mark Schreiber; children Duncan Campbell, of Ellicott City; Chelsea Rose, Taylor Schreiber and Michelle Williams, all of Pasadena; best friend Jamie Mingroni, of Parker, Colo.,; brothers Michael Rose, of Hanover, Pa.; and Charles "Kelly" Rose, of Ellicott City; sisters Gloria Selby, of Hanover, Pa.,; Sharon Little, of N.C.; Donna Herring, of Taneytown; and Sue Rose ("Tootsers"), of Keymar.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA. Interment will be private.
