Thelma T. Overholtzer, 83, of Littlestown, Pa., died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taneytown.

Born Jan. 6, 1930, in Emmitsburg, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Lillian Rosensteel McNulty. She was the wife of the late Roy B. Overholtzer, her husband of 34 years.

She had worked at the Cambridge Rubber Factory in Taneytown for several years and at Random House in Westminster for 18 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Taneytown. In her earlier years, she and her husband enjoyed dancing and going out with friends. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, collecting cat figurines, and watching the Orioles on TV during her later years.

She enjoyed time with her family, and was known to enjoy giving and receiving hugs.

Surviving are daughter Debbie Frazier and husband Rich, of Taneytown; grandsons Ryan Lawrence, of Westminster, and Phillip Lawrence and partner Adam Weller, of Littlestown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Finnerty; and brothers Earl and Lloyd McNulty.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, where prayers will be offered at 7:45 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 44 Frederick St., Taneytown, with Monsignor Martin E. Feild as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
