Theresa Rebecca Toporzycki, 82, of Westminster, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Carroll Hospital Center.

Born Jan. 30, 1930, in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie Bauerlein Rickle.

She retired from Random House. She enjoyed watching the Baltimore Ravens and the Orioles, and especially enjoyed playing with her dogs.

Surviving are children John Victor Toporzycki Jr. and friend Martha Frick, Bernard Walter and wife Brenda Kay Shaffer Toporzycki, and Walter George Toporzycki all of Westminster, and Marie Rebecca Selby and fiancé Gordon H. Bozant, of Houston, Texas; a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Toporzycki; a great-granddaughter, Marissa Lynn Toporzycki; a sister, Josephine Wagner, of Manchester; a brother, Robert E. Rickle, of Elkridge; a foster brother, Freddie Beard, of Westminster; a foster, sister Helen Toporzycki, of Dundalk; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Bryan Christopher Selby; and sisters Anna Leister, Evelyn Snader, and Reba Poole.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Deacon Joseph Cinquino officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
