Therese Ann Weber, née Partsch, 85, of Sykesville, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Transitions Healthcare in Sykesville. Born October 13, 1929 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of the late Marie and Fridolin Partsch. She was the wife of the late Louis H. Weber, who died in 2007. Having moved from Missouri to Maryland in the 1950s, she and her husband raised six children in Rockville and Simpsonville/Columbia before retiring to Sykesville. She was a loving mother who managed a busy household while working as a secretary at locations such as the JHU Applied Physics Laboratory, Oakland Mills High School, and W. R. Grace. She was a great cook and is remembered for offering any guests wonderful food and hospitality. She always missed her St. Louis family. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law Ann Weber and John Quigley of Asheville, NC, and Julie and Joseph (Randy) Wehrle of Sykesville; sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Joyce Weber of Sykesville, and Christopher Weber and Rose Fornario of Ellicott City; sons Richard Weber and John Weber of Elkridge; grandchildren Rachel, Michael, and Julie Weber, Pamela Newman, and Sarah Wehrle; great-granddaughters Jordan Roos and Sydney Newman; siblings Joan Osmack, Dolores Peltz, Fred Partsch, and William Partsch, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Rita Vogler, Vincent Partsch, and Mary Kelly. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, July 2 from 1pm until the service begins at 3 pm at the Haight Funeral Home and Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road (Route 32), Sykesville. Private inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
