Thomas Allan "Tom" Edwards, 64, of Littlestown, Pa., died unexpectedly Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, in Bel Air.

Born Jan. 1, 1948, in Manhattan, Kan., he was the son of David S. Edwards Jr., of Union Bridge, and the late Esther Menafee Edwards. He was the husband of Laura Dom Edwards, his wife of 47 years.

Tom was employed by Helicopter Applicators, Inc. in Gettysburg. He worked hard and provided for his family.

He enjoyed old cars, and fixing and restoring Wheel Horse tractors. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, co-workers and cats; and working his new job.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and father, are sons Jeff Edwards and fiancé, Stacy Ridinger; and Todd Edwards, all of Gettysburg; sister Marcia Edwards, of Union Bridge; brothers David Edwards, III, of N.C., and Glenn Edwards and wife, Vicki, of Union Bridge; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Stuart and Phyllis Dom, of Ledyard, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with his brother, Glenn Edwards, officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Harney.
