Thomas Charles "Tom" Buzby, 77, of Westminster, died Sunday, October 4, 2015, at home. Born Dec. 10, 1937 in Baltimore City, he was the son of the late Thomas Faulk Buzby and Alma Mae Koch Buzby. He is survived by his wife, Mary Artz Buzby. He was the owner of Buzby Restorations and was in business for over 30 years. He was a florist in his younger days. He was an avid bow hunter and member of Pipe Creek Bow Club and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and gardening. Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 children Thomas Charles Buzby, Jr., Shane L. Buzby, Anna Mae and Jean Kyle Buzby, 4 step-children, Geoffrey and Jonathan Brown, Jennifer Kolmar and George Artz and a brother Richard Buzby. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Ruth Chenoweth. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Messiah United Methodist Church, 25 Middle St., Taneytown, with Rev. Brenda Shields officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157 or New Hope United Methodist Church, 3001 Hooper Rd., New Windsor, MD 21776.
