Thomas G. "Tommy" Barron III, 53, of Finksburg, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Born Jan. 24, 1959, he was the son of Sandra Bitzer Barron and Thomas G. Barron II.

He worked in construction. He enjoyed traveling and rock 'n' roll, especially the Rolling Stones. He was a sports enthusiast.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are sons Steven Barron, of Finksburg, and Michael "Craig" Barron, of Dundalk; sisters and brothers-in-law Kim Elfert and husband Rolf, and Tracey Barron, all of Westminster, and Dawn Elfert and husband Gary, of Finksburg; brother and sister-in-law Lee Allen Barron and wife Maria, of Sykesville; a grandson, Ethan Barron; four nieces, four nephews; one great-niece; one great-nephew; four aunts; one uncle; and many cousins.

Private graveside services will be held at Mount Olive Cemetery, with the Rev. Mary Jo Sims officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to local homeless shelters.

Arrangements are by Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Services in Westminster.
