Thomas Lester Furlow, 70, of Leesburg, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, in Eustis, Fla.

He was born March 26, 1942, in Takoma Park. He was the husband of Theresa Furlow.

He moved to Leesburg from Lakeland, Fla., in 1976 and was formerly from Maryland. He was a mechanic, a CB radio operator with the handle "The Spiceman," and the former owner of Furlow's Marine Service Center. He had also worked at Home Depot in the electrical department. He enjoyed traveling in his RV.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children and spouses Terry Thomas and Ruth Louise Furlow, of Tavares, Fla., and Jodi Lynn and Vance Sullivan, of Leesburg; two grandchildren; brothers Joe, Michael, Pat and Larry Furlow; and a sister, Ann Marie Roberts.

Per his request, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to , 1701 Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22331.

Arrangements are being handled by Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory in Leesburg.
