Thomas Stuart Anania, age 59, of Taneytown passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Born December 5, 1957, in Baltimore, MD he was the son of Peter Victor Anania and Nancy Lee Mulcahy of Ellicott City. Tom was a motorcycle mechanic and former owner of T-Bone and Earl's Cycles in Taneytown. He was a graduate of Glenelg High School, Class of 1975. Tom enjoyed racing dirt bikes, riding street bikes and basically anything to do with motorcycles. He was an artist, musician, philosopher, mentor and a true inspiration to all who knew him. Surviving in addition to his parents are brothers and sister-in-law; Peter V. Anania, Jr. of Ellicott City, David S. and Barbara Ann Anania of New Windsor and Andrew J. Anania of Thurmont and nieces and nephew: Elizabeth Anania, Ashen Anania, Tara Anania and Robin Harlan. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 17, 2017, from 5 to 8pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment will be private.
