Timothy Joseph Cooke Sr., 56, of Westminster, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.

Born Nov. 30, 1955, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert J. Cooke and Rosemary Elizabeth Brady Cooke. He was the husband of Wendy S. Cooke, his wife of 20 years.

He was a 1974 graduate of Westminster High School. He worked at Random House for 30 years.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster. He was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan and enjoyed helping others.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Timothy J. Jr. and Chantel Cooke, of Ft. Irwin, Calif.; twin sons Alexander J. and Christopher D. Cooke, both of Westminster; brothers and sister-in-laws Robert and Shirley Cooke, of New Oxford, Pa., and Jeffrey and Sharon Cooke, of Gettysburg, Pa.; a brother, David Cooke, of Gettysburg; sisters and brothers-in-law Carole and John "Mickey" Iafrate, of Manchester, and Suzanne and Ed Carroll, of Littlestown, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Patricia Brodbeck, of York, Pa.; grandchildren Taymeo, Alana and Tate; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors; and friends George and Lynn Stavropulos.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster, with the Rev. Kevin Clementson officiating. Interment will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
