Born November 6, 1924, died on February 6, 2015, she was the daughter of the late Miriam Unger Rodkey and the late Raymond F. Rodkey. She was the wife of the late William N. Ensor, Jr. She was predeceased by daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Ensor. She grew up on a family farm in Tyrone and was active in Baust United Church of Christ. She was a lifelong member of Lazarus United Church of Christ. She graduated from Taneytown High School, attended Strayer Business School and was a secretary in Baltimore and College Park, MD until her marriage. She was a long time supporter of the Carroll County Farm Museum, active in Homemakers, a Bible Study Group and the North Carroll Senior Center. Her hobbies included square-dancing, camping, playing with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are sons and daughter-in-laws Robert R. and Gail T. Ensor of Manchester, MD, William R. and Ruth W. Ensor of Purcellville, VA; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many close friends. According to her wishes, her body has been donated to the MD Anatomy Board. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at the family farm.
