U. Theodore "Bud" "Ted" Logue, 98, of Taneytown, MD died on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at his home. Mr. Logue was born on June 20, 1918 in Westminster, MD and was the son of the late Edgar T. and Harriet (Myers) Logue Hull. He was the husband of Laura W. Logue, who predeceased him in 2009. Mr. Logue was a carpenter and worked for several different contractors during his lifetime. He was a life member of St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church and served on the church council, property committee, and many other committees. Mr. Logue enjoyed all kinds of sports especially baseball and football, and being around his family. Surviving him is son and daughter-in-law Richard T. Logue and Virginia DeMarco of La Plata, and daughter and son-in-law Ruth and Robert Roppel of Annapolis; grandchildren and spouses Tori and Doug Davenport, Theodore and Mary DeMarco-Logue, Benjamin and DeLaura DeMarco- Logue, Craig Roppel and Sinead Sargent, Luke and Lauren Roppel; 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 6 siblings. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4:30 to 7 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with his nephew, Rev. Terry Hoke and his pastor, Rev. David Schaefer officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, 700 Kriders Cemetery Rd., Westminster MD 21158.
