Victoria Mae "Tori" Chandler, 19, of Westminster, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Born Dec. 19, 1993, in Suitland, she was the daughter of Russ Chandler and wife Carolyn, of Westminster, and Mandy Chandler and companion Nate Huff, of Lusby. She was the girlfriend of Johnny Wysocki, of Westminster.

She was a customer sales representative at Brewer's Market in Silver Run. She was a 2011 graduate of Winters Mill High School. She attended Carroll Community College, where she tutored for English and math, and currently attended Stevenson University, where she majored in human services. She also volunteered at the Rape Crisis Center and the Carroll County Mediation Center, both in Westminster.

She was an avid reader, liked listening to and singing music, and was a passionate Redskins fan. She enjoyed traveling and took adventurous trips skydiving, hiking and recently traveled to Ireland. Most importantly, she made spending time with her family and friends a priority.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are siblings Sarah and Beth Chandler, of Westminster; stepsiblings Rhiannon and Brennan Vandertie, of Westminster; a half sister, Lillian Chandler, of Lusby; paternal grandmother Nancy Scott and husband Thomas, of Calvert County; paternal grandfather James Chandler and wife Francis, of St. Mary's County; maternal grandfather David Bee and wife Jodi, of Arizona; maternal grandmother Sharon Vennel-Wieber and companion Richard Gulick, of Georgia; and a great-grandmother, Joan Conley, of Calvert County.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service, 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Chaplain Mike Bowen officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Carroll Community College Foundation, 1601 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157; please notate Community Mediation Center in the check's memo line.
