Virginia Mae Good, 84, of Westminster, died Friday, June 1, at Carroll Hospice's Dove House.

Born January 5, 1928, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Homer and Sallie Fleece Bageant. She was the wife of Maurice E. Good, whom she married March 5, 1949.

She was a registered nurse in her early years, then a homemaker. She was a graduate of City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va., which is now a division of West Virginia University. She was a lover of all animals and enjoyed reading and flower gardens. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son and daughter-in-law Michael E. and Lisa C. Good, of Westminster; sister and brother-in-law Emmajean and Frank Checchio, of Trenton, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Pritts Funeral Home, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster, with her pastor the Rev. Kevin Clementson officiating. Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Brownsville Cemetery in Brownsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Grace Lutheran Church, 21 Carroll St., Westminster, 21157, or to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, 21157.
