Vivian A. "BeBee" Leatherwood, 80 of Woodbine, died suddenly Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in Venice, FL. Born September 17, 1934 in Millville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Wallace and Ethelean Wilt Mathena. She was the wife of the late Samuel Howard Leatherwood, Jr. She was the owner and operator of Ramblin Pines Campground in Woodbine. Surviving are sons Samuel Vernon Leatherwood of Woodbine, and Ricky Alan Leatherwood of Woodbine; siblings Betty Meekins and her husband Angus of Woodstock, Patricia Haddaway and husband Lee of Randallstown, Larry Mathena and his wife Sarah of Woodstock, Bremen Mathena and his wife Doris of Woodstock, and Bob Mathena and his wife Mary Jo of Woodstock, and grandchildren Brandon, Patrick and Jacob. She was predeceased by her siblings Vernon Mathena, Jr., Barbara Harris, and Mary Jane Geisler. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Granite Presbyterian Church, 10637 Old Court Road, Woodstock, MD 21163. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Granite Presbyterian Church.
