Vivian W. Dudderar, age 98, of Sykesville, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at the Carroll Hospital Center. Born October 18, 1916, in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Thomas Wooten and Mollie R. Jefferson Wooten, She was the wife of the late John R. Dudderar who died in 2003. She married her husband in 1942 and was very proud of their long marriage. Vivian was a retired LPN from Springfield Hospital Center where she worked for 35 years. She was a long time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Sykesville. Vivian was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Freedom Chapter #87. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law; John R., Jr. and Mary Dudderar of Westminster; brother, Floyd W. Wooten of Rich Square, NC and grandsons and their spouses; Jason B. and Jennifer Dudderar, Andrew J. and Katherine Dudderar and Major Matthew R. and Dr. Raquel Dudderar. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Caroline, Jane, Claire, Anna and David. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Rebecca Dudderar and siblings, Rebecca Lucille Gay, Nora Frances Webb, Rosa L. Walters and Mammie Alice Barnes, Irving L. Wooten, Thomas M. Wooten, Philip J. Wooten, Robert A. Wooten, and Marie A. Wooten. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery, Sykesville. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
