Walter Lloyd Groft, 83, formerly of Westminster, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Gettysburg, PA. Born July 15, 1932 in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Clayton Groft and Bertie Yingling Groft. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Elouise Little Groft. Before retiring, he worked at Black and Decker in Hampstead. He enjoyed woodworking and tending to his flower beds. Besides his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Marie Robertson and Paul E. Robertson, Jr., of Gardners, PA. Also survived by 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Sulcer, pastor of Crosswinds Church officiating. Interment will follow in Westminster Cemetery.
