Walter James "Jim" Lammey, 65, of Westminster, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at home.

Born Sept. 18, 1948, in West Chester, Pa., he was the son of the late Gladys McCardell Lammey and Harold Vincent Lammey.

Before retiring, he was employed as a software systems installer for ADP. Prior to that he was an accountant for the firm Blumberg and Zlatin CPA.

He was an active member of the former Reisterstown Jaycees. He enjoyed playing softball and bowling in his younger days. He was an avid fan of the Orioles and the Ravens. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are sons William James "Jamie" Lammey and Chad Lammey, both of Westminster, and Mark Lammey, of Hampstead; a daughter, Daniela Lammey,  of Hampstead; a brother, Donald Lammey, of West Chester, Pa.; granddaughters Kourtney and Alexa Lammey, of Hampstead; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sisters Charlotte Supplee and Nancy Brittingham.

Services and interment will be private.
