Walter Thomas Nusbaum, age 87, of York, PA died at 3:40 PM Monday, March 16, 2015 at his residence. He was the husband of Joan M. (Bosley) Nusbaum. Born June 30, 1927 in Reese, Maryland, a son of the late Harvey and Annie (Grimes) Nusbaum, he was retired from Shipley Energy, and had served in the US Navy during WWII, and Korea. He was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ; White Rose Lodge #706, Free and Accepted Masons; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, York Forest #30, Shiloh American Legion Post #791; and Viking Athletic Association. In addition to his wife of 67 years, Mr. Nusbaum is survived by a sister, Doris Strawsburg, of New Windsor, Maryland. Funeral services will be private, with burial in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
