William Alfred "Bill" Kowalsky, 78, of Westminster passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Lorien of Taneytown. Born February 18, 1937, in Parkville, he was the son of the late Alfred and Lucy (Lawhorne) Kowalsky. He was the husband of Sarah Amanda (Killmon) Kowalsky, whom he married on September 8, 1962. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959-1962. He worked as a Cameraman for WJZ Channel 13 Eyewitness News for 38 years. He was an avid Ravens fan and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was of the Methodist faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are his beloved daughters and husbands, Sharon K. and Steven Inge and Karen A. and Tad Rau all of Westminster; brother Robert Kowalsky of Parkville and sister Betty Cox and husband Tom of Harford County; his loving grandchildren Lindsay and Chelsea Inge and Jackson and Amanda Rau and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Art Monroe, Jr. officiating. Interment will be private.
