William James "Cris" Crispens, age 77 of Westminster, died Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster after a brief illness. Born October 13, 1939 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Earl Edward and Mary Elizabeth Clark Crispens. He was the husband of Juanita Crispens of Westminster. Cris served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1964. He achieved the rank of Spec. 4 and served in the Signal Corps in Augsburg, Germany. Cris was a faithful husband, devoted father and adoring grandfather. Surviving in addition to his wife are son and daughter-in-law Steven and Michelle Crispens, daughter Jean Crispens, brother-in-law Blair Bolton, and grandchildren Katy and Connor Crispens. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Mathew Williams. Services will be held on Thursday, Aug.17, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the American Legion, 2 Sycamore St. Westminster 21157. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the , or to the USO.
