William Oliver Gorman, 101, of Westminster passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. William was born on September 4, 1915 in Washington D.C. And was the son of the late Albert and Ada May (Kelly) Gorman. Twice married he was the husband of the late Mildred Breckenridge Gorman who passed away in 1948, and Dorothy Ryan Gorman who passed away in 1991. William worked as a craftsman at Kimmels Furniture, making cabinets until his retirement 1975. He enjoyed going to Community Bible Study at Westminster Baptist Church. He loved to study the bible and do crosswords. He will be remembered for always telling jokes, and kidding and cutting up with friends. Surviving him are children Rita Dollar of CO, Billie Fratz of MT, Jim Gorman of FL, and John Gorman of GA; sister Connie Thompson; niece Kelly Cochran; and nephew Steven Thompson all of Hampstead. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Deer Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Community Bible Study at Ministry Service Center, 970 Stout Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80921.
