Wilma Lacie (Yingling) Cole, 94, of Hampstead, MD passed away on October 13, 2017. Born September 21, 1923 in Williamsburg, OH, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Grace (Allen) Thacker. Before retiring, Wilma worked for Westinghouse as a Lab Technician. She was a member of Church of the Open Door and a volunteer at NESAP, She was an avid reader, liked to walk with friends and enjoyed word puzzles. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Emerald (Bud) Cole; second husband, Earle Yingling, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. Surviving are her two daughters: Barbara Wilma Manners of Deland, FL, Cynthia Lynn Schmidt of Rosedale, MD; son, Robert Emerald Cole of Essex, MD; brother, Karl Thacker of Bidwell, OH; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St, Hampstead, MD. A service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at 11:30 am at the Funeral Home with Rev. John Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
