Wilson (Hank) Neudecker, 82, a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed into the presence of the Lord on January 6, 2015 at Carroll Hospital Center. He was born September 18, 1932, in McSherrystown, PA and was the son of the late Harry and Laura (Sundruck) Neudecker. For over 56 years he was the husband of Frances (Bowers) Neudecker. He served in the US Army from 1952-1954 during the Korean War in the Chemical Weapons Battalion. He was a farmer in Carroll County for 57 years. He started welding with his father at age 14 and continued welding in Snydersburg for a total of 68 years. He was a lifetime member of the United Coon Hunters Association. He is survived by daughters Virginia Slaubaugh and husband Jeff of Hanover, PA, Tracy Neudecker Jarrell and husband David of Westminster, and step-daughter Brenda Sock and husband Keith of Hampstead, grandson Donald Keeney, Jr., granddaughters Holly Briggs, Jennifer Galvan, Brandy Sock, Gabrielle Sock, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was the brother of Ruby Fair and husband Melvin of Reisterstown, MD, Frances Gardner and the late Monroe Gardner of Glen Rock, PA, Mary Stahley and the late David Stahley of Westminster, Carol Neudecker and wife Jean of Snydersburg. He was predeceased by sisters Ruth Frick and husband Donald Frick of Westminster, Rachel Fisher and husband Roger Fisher of Westminster, and Arlene Neudecker. He was a friend to many. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and sharing stories of his past adventures. He enjoyed hunting more than almost anything. He chose to donate his body to science. Therefore, there will not be a viewing or funeral service. There will be "A Celebration of Life" service at the United Coon Hunters Association located in Hampstead, MD on Sunday, January 25th from 11 am to 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his wife, Frances Neudecker, 1959 Snydersburg Rd., Westminster, MD 21157 to cover expenses.
