Yvonne Lee "Bonnie" Brown (nee Benton), 84, of Felton, PA passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at York Hospital. She was born on January 27, 1932 in Baltimore and was the daughter of the late John E. and Evelyn (nee Rutledge) Benton. She was the loving wife of Thomas Henry Brown her husband of over 33 years. Bonnie graduated from Towson High School, class of 1948. She worked as an executive secretary at General Instrument Corporation for many years until becoming a homemaker. She was very active and fond of being outdoors. She found enjoyment in fishing, skeet shooting, and professional bowling. She liked to eat dark chocolate while spending time on her computer, and loved all animals especially cats, dogs, and birds. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. Surviving in addition to her husband are children and their spouses Daryl Lee LaVey and Richard of FL, Robin Dale Geiselman Sabo and Michael of Westminster, Melvin J. Sanders III and Jean of Westminster; step-children and their spouses William Madison Brown and Tammy of Blairsville, GA, Raymond Arthur Brown and Dawn of Zephyrhills, FL; grandchildren Shane H. LaVey, Jennifer Lynn Saxton, Brenden Ryan Sanders, Marisa Ellen Sanders; step-grandchildren Thomas Hunter Brown, Rebecca Charlene Brown, Laci Nicole Brown, Aryanna Louise Brown; great-grandchildren Thomas E. LaVey, Gabriel R. LaVey, and Michael Christopher Saxton. She was predeceased by an infant son Guy H. Sanders, and grandsons Ryan J. LaVey and Michael Christopher Sabo. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd. Westminster. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
