Lewis Patten Obituary

Lewis Carlyle Patten, 70, of Liberty, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Casey County Hospital.

Born on May 27, 1947, in Dunnville, he was a son of the late William Walter and Ruth Pearl Davis Patten. Lewis was a mechanic.

He enjoyed fishing and loved his grandchildren.
Lewis is survived by his loving wife, Doris Julita Wethington Patten of Dunnville; a daughter, Christina Patten of Dunnville; a son, Christopher Patten of Dunnville; two grandchildren, Brandon (Nakya) Patten and Zachary Patten; five sisters, Tina Patten of Liberty, Carol (Terry) Wethington of Liberty, Roxie Short of Dayton, Ohio, Marie (Gary) Smith of London and Charlotte Ali of Dayton; five brothers, Curtis Patten of Liberty, Lowell Patten of Liberty, Andrew (Judy) Patten of Dunnville, Dallas (Ledia) Patten of Liberty and Kenny Patten of Middleburg.

In addition to his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Patten Jr., Marion Patten and Russell Patten.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in Liberty with Father Edmund Ani officiating. Burial follows in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 9, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Zachary, Brandon, Chris, Dallas, Lowell, Andrew, Curtis and Kenny Patten.

Arrangements are entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. A guestbook is available at www.mckinneybrown.com.
