Wanda Lee Allen, 89, passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 13, 1927, in Casey County. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Suzann Hayes Allen. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Beckham Allen; a son Michael Allen; three grandsons, Keith Allen, Chad Allen and Brian Allen; a granddaughter, Ulissa Quinn; a great-grandson, William Rouse; five brothers, Paul, Kenneth, Phillip, Harold and Howard Allen; and a sister, Grace Burton.
Survivors include eight sons, David Allen, Larry (Joyce) Allen, Conley Allen, Ted (Shirley) Allen, Billy (Ruby) Allen, Tom Allen, Wayne Allen and George (Tammy) Allen; three daughters, Della Cornett, Corie Lyman, and Marlene Wells; 42 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Arnold Allen; and a sister, Audrey Burke.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Grace Baptist Church, West Liberty with Brother Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial follows in Allen Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m Tuesday at the church.
Pallbearers are Ken Cornett, Josh Allen, Jody Allen, Jarrod Allen, Ronnie Allen, Phillip Allen and Tamara Naylor.
