Darrell Goodin passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2016 at his home in Liberty. He was 71.
Born Nov. 14, 1944 in Casey County, he was the son of Docey Roy Goodin of Liberty and the late Clyde Goodin Sr.
He was a self- employed gate dealer.
Survivors include three sisters, Dixie Pendleton of Dunnville, Virginia (and Raymond) Anderson of Pineville, Ala., and Gail Goodin of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Goodin Jr.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David McKinney, Derrick Pendleton, Terry Allen, David Tarter, Barry Ballenger, David Morgan, and J.C. Atwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
