Deva Mullins, 98, of Yosemite, Kentucky, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2018.
She was born in Argyle, Kentucky on Dec. 2, 1920, daughter of the late Elmer and Grace Drostie Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of Valley Oak Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Lonnie (Bobbye) Mullins and Terry (Jeanie) Mullins, both of Yosemite, four daughters, Betty (Charlie) Rader of Yosemite, Brenda (David) Stringer of Eubank, Sandra (Ronald) Peterson, of Morrow, OH and Karen Pyles, of Somerset, one brother, Kenneth Martin, of Louisville, nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ellis Mullins, her parents, one brother, Lester Martin, four sisters, Doreen Wesley, Alene Godbey, Mildred Cravens and Lucille Goldsby, son-in-law, Don Pyles and one grandson, Joshua Mullins.
A funeral service was held Jan. 5, 2019 at Valley Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Thompson and Bro. Larry Martin officiating.
Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home and after 12 Noon Saturday at Valley Oak Baptist Church.
The family requests donations be made to the Piney Grove Cemetery Fund or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
