Glenn Derl Raines of Danville passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was 82.
Born Sept. 3, 1933 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Howard and Emma Goode Raines.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a car salesman.
Survivors include a daughter, Onita Clements of Danville; four grandchildren, Bryan Sharp, Amanda Clements Foster, Amber Clements, and Noah Clements; five great-grandchildren; a brother, James Raines of Danville; and sister, Phyllis Buck of Hamilton, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Lee Raines and Tommy D. Raines; and two sisters, Sondra Raines and Peggy Webb.
Funeral services were Jan. 19 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight Coffman officiating.
Burial was in Caney Fork Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard.
