James Marvin Hogue (1936 - 2015)


James Marvin Hogue of Liberty died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at Casey County Hospital. He was 79.
Born in Casey County on Sept. 18, 1936, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Etta Campbell Hogue.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes Bell Hogue; three sons, Jeff Hogue of New Salem, Greg Hogue and Merl Hogue, both of Liberty; a daughter, Lynn Faulkner of Liberty; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sisters.
Funeral services were Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. at Bartle Funeral Home Liberty with Bro. Jason Alexander officiating.
Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.
