Jesse Kent "Buddy" Carmicle of West Chester, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at West Chester Medical Center. He was 71. Born Dec. 2, 1942 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Jesse and Minnie Cooper Carmicle. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired self-employed businessman, and member of the Liberty First Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife, Clare Cermak Carmicle of West Chester, Ohio; two sons, Joe Carmicle of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Jesse Daniel (and Rose) Carmicle of Portland, Ore.; and a granddaughter, Alice Carmicle. He also leaves behind a brother, Larry (and Carolyn) Carmicle of Liberty; two sisters, Linda Carmicle of Liberty and Brenda (and Kenny) Anderson of Campbellsville; a halfâ€"brother, Jerry (and Linda) Carmicle of Plano, Texas; and a half-sister, Loraine Beal of Liberty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mona Troutman; a brother, Michael Carmicle; and three half-brothers, Howard, James, and Paul Carmicle. Memorial services were May 6 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Rafferty officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, condolences in memory of "Buddy" Carmicle can be made to St. Susanna School, 500 Reading Road, Mason, OH, 45040.
